Named in honor of the late Maestro Kenneth Schermerhorn who led the Nashville Symphony for 22 years, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center has been home to the critically acclaimed Nashville Symphony since its opening in September of 2006. The Nashville Symphony performs more than 100 classical, pops and special concert events each season and will present recitals, choral concerts, cabaret, jazz and world music events.

Effective Friday, March 11, based on new CDC guidance and the latest epidemiological data for this region, masks will no longer be required at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. As a reminder, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is not required for entry at this time.
They will continue to welcome and encourage masks, particularly for those in high-risk populations, and they will have masks available for any patron who would like to wear one. They will continue to monitor local infection rates regularly, and their policies may change as they receive updated information. They pledge to stay in regular communication with the community if they intend to make further changes to their policies.
