The Basement

The Basement proudly lives up to its tagline “a cellar full of noise,” with a well-established New Faces Night on Tuesdays and a combination of emergent and established music talent both local and touring. (Metallica even played here one year in a secret show.) Owned and operated by Mike “Grimey” Grimes and Dave Brown, the longtime basement nightclub boasts an intimate stage and a spacious patio, as well as a back parking lot that occasionally hosts free concerts.

The Basement usually opens one hour prior to show time and is also available for private parties and special events that can include showcase and private functions. The Basement is a nonsmoking venue, but smoking is available on the patio.
